Welcome to My (Brand New) World

It has been a long time since I felt introspective enough to write about myself for publication. It has been a year of change. After taking a year to regroup after Nick's death, I started thinking seriously about retirement, and more particularly, accepting Nicky and Lori's generous offer to relocate to Florida. So after a year of vacillating indecision about making such a huge change, I finally took the plunge. I’ve been here for six weeks now. I haven’t fully committed – I haven’t even put the house on the market. But I got a library card, and a doctor, and joined a church. And I am absolutely enjoying December temperatures in the 80s.

So, here are some new posts. I finally feel able to write again, and I plan on posting regularly. Hope you all enjoy“Sisters”, “Our Brother In Mississippi”, and my other offerings!
