Easter Without Mass

Dear All,

As we all struggle through this Lenten Season, approaching Holy Week with no end in sight to this Pandemic, it can be difficult to feel close to God. We are cut off from the Eucharist and from one another. It is unlike anything we have lived through before.

We are fortunate in some respects. We cam still practice our faith, if not in the best way. We cannot attend Mass, but we can watch it, on television or online. And we have many websites and apps that can aid us. Magnificat (us.magnificat.net) is making its online version available for free. Two great apps are Laudate, and God Minute. And, of course, Formed.org (parish code PM3RMC) has wonderful programs, and has stepped up its programming for Holy Week and Easter.

I would also like to point out that Deacon Frank has a website, https://iovine.org/main/. He posts mini-homilies at least weekly, and sometimes more frequently.

I occasionally post in my own blog, https://eapotito.wixsite.com/potitoproductions, but school has me quite busy, so I am much more likely to upload a paper I write for class than to write anything directly for the blog.

I don't know when we will be able to hold Think God! sessions again. If people are interested, I could do an online session this Thursday (Holy Thursday) for the Easter Readings. Please let me know if you are interested.

God bless you all, and keep you safe.
